What is the NE US Region

The NE Region exists to support the Intergroups and Meetings of the DC, VA, MD, DE, NJ, PA, NY, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, and ME states by carrying the message of recovery to adult children from alcoholic and dysfunctional families, using our combined resources.

It is important to note that the NE US Region is NOT a governing organization that oversees area groups. As tradition four states, each group (including Intergroups) is autonomous except in matters affecting other groups or ACA as a whole.

Who is the NE US Region

The NE US Region is made of up of regional ACA volunteers. Any ACA member may attend the monthly region meeting. However, only elected regional representatives may vote on issues at the meeting. Every Intergroup may elect one regional representative to represent their Intergroup.
